The present paper focuses on Husserl’s concept of “evidence”. More precisely, it focuses ontwo Husserl’s central theses: the first tells us that evidence consists in a first methodical principle, while the second states that all predicative evidence presupposes pre-predicative evidence. The paper shows that there is an inseparable relationship between these two theses, making it possible, from a privileged place, to approach the matter of the relationship between judgments of perception and pre-predicative experience in Husserl.
