Fenomenologia, ontologia e ermeneutica in Karl Jaspers

Abstract

The paper aims to show how in Karl Jaspers' thought the anthropological problem is strictly connected to the ontological one. I will argue this thesis in three steps. The first one is to introduce the phenomenological approach in psychopathology research, which needs to be completed by an ontological concern. The second one is to shed light on his concept of ontology and of The Encompassing (das Umgreifende). The last step is to describe the hermeneutical comprehension as a medium between phenomenological method and ontological problem.
